Recommended Phuket Resort Pool Villas.
This is a review of Barcelo Coconut Island, perfect for family trips and honeymoons.
The Barcelo Hotel brand is present in the Maldives, and it seems to be present in Phuket as well.
This resort is located on an island about a 20-minute boat ride from Phuket Pier.
Perhaps this is why it offers a private and quiet atmosphere, and the well-maintained landscaping and natural surroundings offer a truly healing and restorative experience.

Arriving at Coconut Island at night, the dock is beautifully illuminated with lights.
And the sounds of music from the night-time beach clubs are getting closer.
Because it’s far from the city center, it feels much more like a resort.
[Luxury Sea View Room]

The room I booked was a “Luxury Sea View Room.”
The ocean view is far away, barely visible due to the landscaping.
This is a connecting room.
There’s a door between the two rooms, but since we only use one, it’s locked and not connected.

The bedroom is clean and has a modern feel.
Waking up in bed and seeing the sky and private pool is a romantic experience.
The private pool isn’t wide, but it’s long.
Even the bathroom has a glass window, so you can enjoy the beautiful sky from the bathtub.
The shower and toilet are separate, which is a bonus.

Did you know there are all-inclusive resorts in Phuket?
Coconut Island, especially because it’s located on an island, offered an all-inclusive meal plan.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all provided, along with activities, so there was no need to worry about meals.
Also, unlimited drinks, cocktails, beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages were complimentary throughout the day, making it fun to try a variety of dishes.
However, some restaurants were excluded or had a fee, so I’d like to introduce them to you.
All-inclusive plans come in Green and Red versions. Green includes only meals, alcoholic beverages, and soft drinks.
Red includes a minibar and a wider selection of premium meals, so the price and inclusions differ.

Kabang Restaurant
I ate breakfast here every day.
There were few Asians, and most seemed to be Europeans or Middle Easterners.
They served bread, fruit, fried food, vegetables, fried rice, soups, bean dishes, and other dishes. They also took orders for omelets and rice noodles from the live cooking station.

But in the evening, it transforms into a truly luxurious dinner.
You can enjoy fresh meat, fish, and seafood grilled right on the grill.
And with a variety of sweet fruits, cheeses, and breads, you can enjoy an even more romantic evening.

Cucina Restaurant
This Italian restaurant offers everyone’s favorites: pizza, burgers, pasta, salads, steaks, and more.
You can watch the pizzas being made on the spot, and they’re all baked in a wood-fired oven.
The chewy pizza dough and generous portions of pasta are delicious, and the burgers are a must-try.

Raku Beach Club Bar πΉ
This restaurant serves lunch and dinner.
It offers a simple menu and the widest selection of alcoholic beverages among restaurants.
It offers a wide selection of cocktails, wine, rum, gin, and beer. The fries and tiramisu were particularly delicious and not too sweet!
At night, it transforms into a beach club.
Get lost in the beats.
Spend the day on the sunbeds or try the resort’s complimentary kayaks.
The view of Phuket’s ocean from here is reminiscent of the Maldives.
The pool here is adults-only, so it’s very deep.
It starts shallow and gradually gets deeper, but be careful, it’s over a person’s height!
XO Restaurant
This is a paid restaurant.
You can enjoy Thai and Japanese cuisine.
This restaurant has a more upscale atmosphere, making it a perfect place to spend a day.
Situated high above the ground, the ocean view from the restaurant is truly breathtaking.
A sunset dinner on the XO Restaurant terrace is truly spectacular.

NEW BAR
They’re building a new bar next to the lobby.
The view from here looks amazing, too.
I’m hoping construction is finished now.
If you’ve been there, please leave a comment.
[Activities/Free, Paid]

Barcelo Coconut Island Resort is located on an island.
Therefore, a private boat runs to the main island every hour, every day.
To avoid the hassle of traveling back and forth to the main island, the resort offers both free and paid activities.
Phuket’s signature tours include the Phi Phi Island tour, sunset fishing, and city tours.

First, adults can participate in aqua aerobics, Muay Thai, yoga, beach volleyball, and beach soccer for a fee.
The cost is reasonable, around $10-20 per adult.
There’s also a paid tennis program.

Want to venture off the island?
You can also book a taxi tour to and from Patong, Phuket’s downtown area, for a fee.
And snorkeling at Koh Lang Yai, an island near the resort, is offered daily during lunchtime, and it’s free!
And don’t forget to book a special dinner for a romantic anniversary.
There’s nothing you can’t enjoy at Barcelo Coconut Resort.

Wow! There’s a kids’ pool right in front of the kids’ club.
The kids’ club has a variety of programs, so kids will have so much fun they’ll lose track of time.
It’s a great place to bring kids.
Bracelet making, bag painting, marathons, nature walks, jungle tours, dance classes, movie nights, face painting, games, and more.
There’s even more variety of programs than for adults.
